Omar Mamad is a lecturer in Medical Physics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), leading research funded by the Research Ireland Pathway Programme. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder. Using preclinical models and advanced techniques such as single-cell analysis, proteomics, and microRNA profiling, his work aims to improve disease understanding and contribute to the development of targeted therapies.
