MARK CUNNINGHAM is Prof of Neurophysiology at TCD. His research focuses on understanding the basis of neurological and psychiatric disease at the level of the neuronal microcircuit and in the context of organized electrical activity generated by the brain. In FutureNeuro, he is leading the development of human brain slice models, and a project with Eisai, aiming to reduce adverse side effects of Perampanel.
