Tony Holohan

Tony Holohan served as Deputy Chief Medical Officer, after completing his medical training, influencing national healthcare policies. As Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health, he led Ireland’s pandemic response through NPHET. Currently an Adjunct Full Professor of Public Health at UCD, Tony’s expertise extends to engaging with government and state agencies. With a history of extensive Board management experience, he has contributed to organisations like HSE, HRB, and the All-Ireland Cancer consortium. He is currently a Board member of the Irish Hospice Foundation.
