Deirdre Kilbane

DEIRDRE KILBANE is Director of the Walton Institute, SETU. Her research interests include nanotechnology, artificial intelligence and quantum communication to develop innovative technologies for the healthcare and ICT sectors. Her project in FutureNeuro involves developing a simulation and modelling platform for molecular communication to demonstrate the seizure spreading process in the brain. She leads the EU Prime FET project.
