DANIELA TROPEA is Assistant Prof of Molecular Psychiatry in TCD. Her lab identified Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1) as a candidate treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders and showed that IGF1 is able to ameliorate disease symptoms in Rett mice. Her research within FutureNeuro focuses on the correlation between molecular markers, brain physiology and disease presentation in Rett Syndrome. She also brings expertise in PPI.
