FutureNeuro & Epilepsy Ireland Join Forces for Public Event

To mark Brain Awareness Week 2025, FutureNeuro is teaming up once again with Epilepsy Ireland for our latest Epilepsy Research Matters event. This in-person event, taking place on the evening of March 12th at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), will showcase a range of exciting epilepsy research happening right here in Ireland.

Why Research Matters

At FutureNeuro, we are committed to making research accessible and impactful. Public and patient engagement plays a key role in shaping our work, and events like this help bridge the gap between researchers, people with epilepsy, and key stakeholders.

Epilepsy Ireland, the national epilepsy organisation, shares this vision. Since 2009, they have invested over €1.5 million in epilepsy research projects, many of which have been led by FutureNeuro researchers. Their mission is to create a society where no person’s life is limited by epilepsy, and supporting research is a crucial part of that goal.

What to Expect

This event is open to people with epilepsy, their families, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about the latest advancements in epilepsy research.
