Padraic Fallon

Padraic Fallon leads the Translational Immunology Group at Trinity College Dublin, where he is Professor of Translational Immunology. His research focuses on the mechanisms of immune dysfunction and novel therapies for inflammatory diseases, including asthma, eczema, inflammatory bowel disease, and haemophilia. A former Wellcome Trust Fellow at the University of Cambridge, he has secured over €15 million in research funding and published ~220 peer-reviewed papers. Prof. Fallon’s work spans the human lifespan and has earned him recognition among the top 1% of cited immunologists globally (Clarivate Analytics, 2018–2022).
