Chris Greene
Dr, StAR Research Lecturer, RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences
Chris Greene is a StAR Research Lecturer in the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics at RCSI. His research is at the intersection of neuroscience, vascular biology, and immunology, focusing on how the barriers of the central nervous system regulate brain function in both health and disease. Chris and his team explore the molecular determinants of blood-brain barrier formation and the development of the cerebral vasculature, with a particular interest in understanding why certain brain regions are more vulnerable to trauma and disease.
