Dairne Dempsey is a Pharmaceutical executive with 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic and device industries. With 9 years at the Irish HPRA, she collaborated with the EMA and the European Commission on technical issues and policy development. Dairine established Bahrain’s National Health Regulatory Agency and served as global VP at ICON. As the founder of Open Orphan, specialising in rare disease drugs, she led its startup. Currently a NED for Soleno Therapeutics Europe and OmniSpirant, she provides strategic consultancy in orphan drug development.
