Sanbing Shen

SANBING SHEN is a Prof of Fundamental Stem Cell Biology at the University of Galway. His lab investigates human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models of ALS and epilepsy. Leading FutureNeuro’s human in vitro modeling studies, he pioneers the derivation of iPSCs from patients and develops technology for their rapid differentiation into astrocytes, neurons, and other cell types. Prof. Shen’s work involves thorough phenotyping to establish accurate human disease models.
