Matthew Campbell

MATTHEW CAMPBELL is Prof or Genetics at TCD. His lab uses gene therapy approaches to modulate levels of tight junction proteins at the blood-brain barrier (BBB). In FutureNeuro, his research employs BBB opening solutions, creating molecular pores to facilitate targeted delivery of macromolecule-based therapeutics to damaged brain regions. Prof. Campbell’s contributions to FutureNeuro encompass two ERC awards, the establishment of a spin-out company (Exhaura), and collaboration on an industry project (Ulysses).
